![]() ![]() Wandell is supported by his wife Carol and his two daughters Mikalah and Gracie who are both heavily involved in learning Jiu Jitsu as well. One of his greatest joys is teaching students goals and techniques and watching their progression and confidence grow. Wandell is currently a brown belt under 4S/B9 black belt Jeff Sullivan and has been teaching kids at the beginner and advanced levels, helping mma fighters prepare for upcoming fights and is heavily involved in learning and teaching with the adult programs. Now a resident of Dothan, AL, many years later Wandell was once again introduced to a different type of grappling in the form of Jiu Jitsu and has become very passionate with the self defense aspect of ground fighting and the teaching of the discipline. After making it into the state competitions his first year of competing, the following year his family moved to Lake Seminole, Ga where there were no grappling sports available to his disappointment.
